A summary, not a substitute — the full text below is what applies.
Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to use Gimber. By using the Services you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We do not permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the service, and we will terminate accounts we determine belong to anyone under 18.
Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
What Gimber is
Gimber is a service that helps players find gaming partners (duos), message matched partners, and take part in tournaments and related features. The website lets you join our waitlist and learn about the product before launch. We provide the platform; we do not guarantee that you will find a match, and we are not responsible for the conduct of other users beyond the safety tools and processes described in these Terms.
Acceptable use and community rules
To keep Gimber safe, you agree that you will not:
- Post, send, or share content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
- Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or intimidate any other user.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
- Solicit money from, defraud, or deceive other users.
- Share another person’s private information without their consent.
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or their systems.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access or collect data from the Services.
User-generated content
You are solely responsible for the content you create, send, or share through the Services (User Content), including your profile and your messages. You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the Services.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. We reserve the right to remove content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Reporting, blocking, and our response to abuse
We provide tools to help you stay safe:
- Report: you can report objectionable content or abusive users from within the app.
- Block: you can block another user, which ends any duo between you, removes you from each other’s view, and stops messaging in both directions.
We are committed to reviewing reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior and taking appropriate action — which may include removing content and suspending or terminating the responsible account — within 24 hours of a report. Users who repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms will be removed from the service.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your conduct harms other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that they will meet your requirements. Gimber is not responsible for the conduct — online or offline — of any user.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gimber and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Jordan, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Last updated date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
